Details

An 18th-century hand-carved Chinese gambling counter forms the centerpiece of this exceptional pendant. Created in Canton for the European market, these counters were once prized game pieces in 18th-century card rooms. This example is framed by a hand-hammered gold godron bezel and accented with pearls and moonstones. Finished with a hinged bale that clips to a necklace, this pendant exemplifies Elizabeth Locke Jewels' reimagining of historic artifacts into wearable art.
