Antique 'Floral' Micromosaic Brooch/Pendant

An exquisite nineteenth century micromosaic depicting a floral composition forms the centerpiece of this one of a kind Elizabeth Locke jewel. Composed of countless tiny pieces of glass, this is a beautiful example of the prized keepsakes collected by Grand Tour travelers. The image is set within a finely textured gold bezel accented with cabochon blue sapphire triads that enhance its depth and richness. Hand crafted in Elizabeth Locke Jewels' signature hammered gold, the piece is finished with a fold-down detachable bale, allowing it to be worn as either a brooch or a pendant.
