An antique 19th century micromosaic depicting the Colosseum is beautifully reimagined as a modern-day Elizabeth Locke jewel. Formed from countless tiny pieces of colored glass arranged with remarkable precision, the image reflects the artistry that made micromosaics treasured keepsakes among Grand Tour travelers. Framed in a richly textured godron bezel and accented with four cabochon moonstones, the mosaic is set by hand in warm gold and finished with a hinged bale that clips easily onto a favorite necklace. This pendant is a one-of-a-kind treasure.
