This antique 19th century micromosaic depicts the ancient Roman Forum, its intricate image bordered by a narrow gold bezel with delicate detailing. Composed of countless tiny pieces of colored glass set with extraordinary precision, micromosaics capture remarkable detail in miniature and were produced in Rome and Vatican workshops as treasured souvenirs of the Eternal City's grandeur. Evoking the majesty of classical Rome, this pendant is handcrafted in rich gold and finished with a slender hinged bale that clips easily to a necklace.
