Details

This 19th century 'Forum' micromosaic is framed by faceted blue sapphires in a finely crafted gold bezel. Created from countless tiny pieces of colored glass arranged with extraordinary precision, micromosaics were treasured souvenirs of the Grand Tour and are admired today for their artistry and rarity. Elizabeth Locke has reimagined this miniature masterpiece as a pendant, handcrafted in rich gold and finished with a slender hinged bale that clips easily to a necklace.
