Details

A 19th-century micromosaic depicting a charming King Charles Spaniel forms the centerpiece of this exceptional pendant. Composed of hundreds of tiny glass tesserae, micromosaics were prized keepsakes of the Grand Tour in the 18th and 19th centuries, celebrated for their intricate detail and enduring beauty. This finely rendered scene is framed by a slender gold bezel accented with four sets of gold detailing. Finished with a hinged bale that clips easily onto a necklace, this pendant is an exquisite example of Elizabeth Locke Jewels' celebration of historic artistry transformed into wearable treasure.
